The heat wave has arrived and BBQ season is finally here!
In keeping with our recent green cleaning blogs, we've included some green BBQ cleaning tips below to avoid using harsh chemicals. All you need is vinegar, some warm water, a spray bottle, a cloth and a little bit of elbow grease!
1.Pour two cups of vinegar into the spray bottle.
2.Add two cups of water on top of it.
3.Put the lid on the bottle and shake it vigorously to mix the water and vinegar together.
4.Spray generously with the water/vinegar solution on the racks of the grill and the area above and underneath.
5.Let the solution dry for 10 minutes.
6.While the grill dries, pour out any extra water/vinegar solution and refill the bottle with vinegar only.
7.Spray the vinegar on to cloth or sponge and scrub the grills interior. No rinsing needed! Take care when using foil as this can scratch painted metal finishes.
Top tip! If you don't have a sponge or cloth, scrunch up some tin foil and use as a brush/scourer instead!
You can also use vinegar to clean the exterior of your grill, but vinegar and water solution is best as it does not smell as strong as straight vinegar.
